Assuming for housing a proven efficiency solutions, the implementation focuses on community spaces, trying to set the volume of specific spatial qualities result of a deliberate reading of the plot, so that the characterization of different perspectives of the building are determined by the particular nature of connecting public spaces.
Thus, it is intended an opaque and continuous northern front, dense screen to the regional road, while the south, dominated by the new park, the volume is drilled to discover the community galleries distribution in the inside of the building.
The ground floor contains two shops and three houses, one of them adapted for use by people with disabilities. It is also the floor with greater surface area for communal areas considering that, it is added to the access distribution galleries an entrance way from the street (one on the northern front, another in the east), the access to the basement parking, rooms facilities and the new reserve space required by the technical building code, in this case, is planned to be used by residents as a community hall.
The first floor as the second, are entirely dedicate to housing, nine in each floor, and they are structured around two courtyards with similar dimensions (5’21×6’10 and 6’04×7’41) which serve to illuminate and ventilate housing and distribution galleries as well as enabling interesting visual lines between the park and the building.
